Timing Chain Setup (Fiesta ST150)
Chain Installation /
1 - Turn engine just before TDC on cylinder 1
2 - Remove plug from block (near drive shaft)
3 - Fit crankshaft timing tool pin
4 - Turn crankshaft clockwise until crank web is touching locking pin
5 - Fit camshaft timing bar on rear of cams
6 - Slacken bolts on camshaft sprockets
7 - Install chain and sprockets (if new) and sprocket bolts finger tight
8 - Remove chain tensioner locking pin
9 - Tighten bolt of both camshaft sprockets 72nm
10 - Install m6 bolt into crankshaft pulley (6oclock)
11 - Fit crankshaft pulley
12 - Ensure m6 bolt in pulley lines up with 6oclock position
13 - Fit and tighten new crankshaft pulley bolt (100nm + 90°)
14 - Remove m6 bolt, cam timing bar and crankshaft pin
15 - Turn engine by hand clockwise 2 turns and make sure timing tools line up
