IS38+ Uprated Turbo – EA888 Gen 3

IS38+ uprated turbocharger available in three different configurations, allowing you to choose from the turbo core itself through to a fully assembled unit with new housings.

Ideal for EA888 Gen 3 applications using the IS38 turbo, including selected VW Golf R, Audi S3 and SEAT Leon Cupra models.

Choose Your Option

1. IS38+ Turbo Core (CHRA) Only

Supplied as the complete IS38+ centre rotating assembly, ready for installation into suitable turbocharger housings.

Ideal for customers or workshops who already have suitable housings and want to carry out the assembly themselves.

2. IS38+ Core + Housing Swap Service

Send your existing turbocharger to UNA Performance and we'll install the new IS38+ core into your existing hot and cold housings.

Your turbo is then assembled and returned to you ready for installation.

Existing housings must be suitable for reuse. If we find damage or excessive wear that prevents them from being reused, we'll contact you before proceeding.

3. Complete IS38+ Turbo – New/refurbished Hot & Cold Housings

A complete assembled IS38+ turbocharger using:

IS38+ uprated turbo core

New/refurbished turbine (hot-side) housing

New/refurbished compressor (cold-side) housing

Professionally assembled by UNA Performance

This option requires no donor turbo, making it ideal if you want an outright replacement rather than sending your existing unit to us.

Suitable for selected EA888 Gen 3 2.0 TSI/TFSI applications originally using the IS38 turbocharger, including:

Volkswagen Golf R Mk7 / Mk7.5

Audi S3 8V / 8V.5

SEAT Leon Cupra 280 / 290 / 300
